This is Tubby, a droid concept inspired by an HVAC component on the roof of a neighboring building, and admittedly, probably a ton of other robots I’ve seen over the years. I decided to create Tubby because his design contains a variety of shapes, calling for a variety of techniques. He also has a few different points of articulation with which to interact with his eventual environment.
