I have been fascinated with 3D imaging and animation since I viewed the space travel and combat scenes in “The Last Starfighter” in the 80s. I was amazed at what could be created without actual physical materials. I knew that removing the limitations of the physical would lead to untold freedom in the kinds of films that could be made.

Years later, I got another taste of that freedom of creation when I saw the computer animated series “Reboot” in 1994 and “Beast Wars: Transformers” in 1996.

The technology and techniques have only improved in the decades since then, and I have only become more interested in learning how to bring my own ideas to life.
